Caloria company is the exclusive agent in Greece for Group Riello products, one of the leader companies in burner for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Caloria focuses on consistently delivering high-quality services to its clients. Under this perspective our team developed, on behalf of Caloria company and in partnership with MES ENERGY.SA, an innovative and interactive web app. Caloria app is a complex calculator which records customers heating and hot water needs, generates usage and financial reports and performs a detailed cost analysis proposing group of products appropriate for customer’s project.

Designing from UI to Backend our team developed Caloria web app in responsive web design, using JavaScript library, React. The app includes a number of functionalities such as usage and cost analysis report generation, user management and user login & registration. Highlighted app functionalities are described in the below sections.

RESTful API

User Registration & Management

Users have the option for registration and log in. Caloria app is developed to support user management. Authorised users have the options to activate and deactivate selected accounts.

Data input

User can input required data in each section such as define area on the map, select the type of the project, provide basic information such as the year of construction, hot water consumption, type and the acreage of the swimming pools available. User can also fill in the type and the yearly consumption of the used fuel, details about the burners such as power, year of construction and type of use (heating, hot water, swimming pool).

Schedule

Taking into account the estimated percentage of monthly usage for the heating system, the hot water needs and the swimming pool needs a usage simulation per month is generated. In this section user can manually input data for each time and month, while there is the option to duplicate data in different months, or duplicate data from the work days to weekends.

Energy calculations

In order to generate valid and useful reports, there was made a batch data input from meteo stations. A complete offer and cost analysis is generated and presented, with different group of options of Caloria’s products while the depreciation time and the annual savings are calculated.

Report generation

User can download report in pdf format. Report contains meteo data, usage data, usage simulation results depicted in charts and financial & technical data including indexes like IRR, ROI, annual savings etc.
